PERSONAL TRAINING - IN PERSON (Singapore based) and ONLINE
MY PERSONAL TRAINING PROGRAMS ARE EXCLUSIVELY DESIGNED TO FIT YOUR UNIQUE PREFERENCES, PERSONALITY AND WILL BRING OUT THE BEST IN YOU!
Clients often ask me “what are the most important things I should focus on with my fitness program”. Based on my experience and training, I focus on 6 key areas:
POSTURE
First things first. I call good posture neutral spine. Proper posture protects you from a whole array of body related issues such as back and neck pain. Proper posture improves your spine health and what would we do without a proper functioning spine. Sitting and standing with proper alignment improves blood flow, helps keep your nerves and blood vessels healthy and supports your muscles, ligaments and tendons. I also like to say proper posture boosts your energy levels, improves your mood and increases confidence….chest forward!
CORE
All our necessary motions originate in our core. Whether you are hitting a tennis ball or picking toys from the floor. Properly building up your core strength enhances balance and stability, thus preventing falls and injuries during sports or other daily activities. In your session we not only focus on ab training, we focus on training your hips, glutes, back and learning how to stabilise the core musculature.
CARDIO
Let’s get your heart rate up! Getting your heart pumping at faster rates on a regular basis keeps it in shape and healthy, reducing the risk of heart disease. When we engage in cardio of any kind, the body releases endorphins….the feel good chemical! Your body produces this chemical during and after your exercise, reducing muscle tension and stress. Cardio improves your sleep, strengthens your immune system and can improve your health and life in multiple ways.
In your session you will find low as well as high impact cardio exercises
STRENGTH
During your personal training session you will use weights or your own body weight to create resistance for exercising to train your muscles and stimulating muscle growth. Strength training is important for improving your mobility, stability, metabolism and body composition. Together we work towards increasing weight and the amount of repetitions.
MOBILITY
Perhaps the most important one! Related to flexibility, training for mobility will improve the ROM (Range of Motion) of your muscles and the joints they control. Improving mobility will help you to get stronger and prevent injuries. You will find lots of mobility exercises in your warm-up as well as active rests periods during the session. Walking lunges, yoga, foam rolling and dynamic stretching are all ways to increase your mobility.
LIFESTYLE
An overall healthy and fit lifestyle not only involves training your body. Fuelling and resting your body properly are as important. We all know it. CONSISTENCY IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS.
Managing stress, getting a good sleep and maintaining a healthy, balanced diet makes you less susceptible to injury and are important aspects of a healthy lifestyle. Read more under Health & Nutrition to learn how you can achieve this for yourself
It all starts here: your Initial Health and Fitness Assessment. We will assess and measure your body composition , cardiorespiratory endurance, muscular fitness and musculoskeletal flexibility. We discuss your goals and current challenges you might be facing and craft a plan that works for YOU. My promise to you: 100% commitment and results guaranteed!
Each Personal Training session consists of a dynamic warm up, followed by a fully customised training segment. We finish with flexibility and mobility enhancing exercises followed by a relaxing cooling down stretch.

BARRE
BY DESIGN, BARRE CLASSES ISOLATE, SCULPT AND STRENGTHEN EVERY MAJOR MUSCLE GROUP IN THE BODY THROUGH SMALL, LOW IMPACT, TARGETED MOVEMENTS INSPIRED BY CLASSICAL BALLET TECHNIQUE, YOGA, PILATES AND STRENGTH TRAINING
The idea of Barre as a workout was created by a German dancer named Lotte Berk who wanted to combine dance conditioning with rehabilitative therapy. Barre was brought to New York City in 1971, and grew exponentially from there, into the workout we know today.
Isn’t Barre just for ballerina’s? No it certainly isn’t! Do not fear! A Barre class doesn’t actually involve any dancing, however you will definately find elements of ballet technique in my class (think plié, passé relevé, tendu……There will be moments you feel like a ballerina!
At any point during the class, we will use the ballet barre to help improve balance, core strengthening and other flexibility exercises. Essentially, the ballet barre is used as a balance tool while using your own body weight to perform the exercises.
One of the great things about Barre is the ability to make the workout your own. I will provide modifications with each exercise, so you can work at your own level to get the most out of every Barre class.
One of the best benefits of Barre is that it improves posture by focusing on lengthening the body and spine. I will constantly encourage you to maintain proper posture as you perform the exercises. You will experience improved FLEXIBILITY, BALANCE and MUSCLE TONING. Do not fear, the muscles you build in Barre, are LEAN, not bulky, which helps create a toned “dancer’s body.”
